The 2025 Alworth Institute WorldQuest International Trivia Competition is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
The game is in-person and will be played in teams of approximately 6 to 8 people (some exceptions made). Get a team together for this fun evening!

•Student Fee of $5; others $10
•Game played in rounds featuring Flags and Capitals; Geography; People in the News; World Events, and questions based on Global Minnesota's Global Connect Newsletters for the past year. https://globalminnesota.org/newsletters/past-issues/
•Donation to a charity/non-profit of choice for winning teams (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
•Prizes awarded for Best Team Spirit & Best Costumes (not required)

2022-2023 WorldQuest
Held as a hybrid event on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 7:00 pm.
Participants played the game via Kahoot! either in person at UMD's Griggs Center or virtually through Kahoot.
Forty-three teams (about 1/2 in-person and the other half virtually) with students, staff, and faculty from University of Minnesota Duluth, University of Wisconsin Superior, and the College of St. Scholastica, as well as community members, participated in the competition. The top three teams receive a donation from an anonymous donor to the charity/non-profit organization of their choice. The winning teams were:
First Place - TEAM CEASE! (Community member) (Playing for Citizens’ Climate Lobby - Duluth Two Harbors) (Also winner of the 2022 WorldQuest game.)
Second Place - THE COOL WIZARDS (UMD Students and friends) (Playing for the Myotisis Association)
