ADDIE
Year in School: Junior
Studying: I am pursuing a major in English and a minor in French Studies.
Hometown: I am from St. Paul, MN.
Involvement on campus: I am a member of the Yoga Club, and I just recently joined the Student Advisory Collective at the Tweed Museum of Art on campus.
Fun fact(s) about you: My favorite movie is The Last Unicorn, and I play the drums.
Why are you excited to be a Peer Advisor? I am excited to learn about and help my peers so that they are more comfortable with what they are studying.
What is your favorite thing about UMD? The nature and city of Duluth are so interesting and beautiful. I love exploring outside of campus whenever I can.
LYDIA
Studying: I am majoring in Political Science and Communication and minoring in English and Business Administration.
Hometown: I am from Litchfield, Minnesota.
Involvement on campus: I am involved with a few different clubs and organizations here on campus. I am part of the Navigators Ministry, The Bark, the UMD Mock Trial group, and part of a few Student Government Committees.
Fun fact(s) about you: I can play four instruments: piano, flute, violin, and saxophone!
Why are you excited to be a Peer Advisor? I am excited to be a peer advisor because I am able to meet new people and help out my fellow bulldogs.
What is your favorite thing about UMD? My favorite thing about UMD is how close-knit everything in both Duluth and campus feels.
