Our students are the reason for our department. All of us make some kind of visual culture product. As makers, we know the embodiment of what we've learned and who we are is in what we do.
Students show their work in many ways: by being juried into the Annual Art and Design Student Exhibition, through their portfolios, by doing presentations, and in senior exhibitions.
Students have many other chances for enrichment; for example, they hear exceptional visual professionals talk about their work by attending the Visual Culture Lecture Series, learn about working in a museum by interning at the Tweed Museum of Art, or participate in in-depth study with a faculty member by pursuing an Undergraduate Research Opportunity. There's no end to what can be achieved here.
