I have worked within the CAHSS Advising office since 1994. Throughout my time, I have had many opportunities to be involved in various committees and learn a variety of policies, procedures, and systems. My role has evolved throughout the years. I continue to advise probationary students, but also assist faculty with proposing new curriculum, and help coordinate how majors, minors, and certificates are designed. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from UMD with criminology and sociology majors. Later, I completed a Master of Education degree from UMD.
