My early education was at the Unity Public Schools, Balsam Lake, Wisconsin. In 1969 I started my secondary education at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, in art and art education. The degree was split in two because I Married Roger Lehman in 1971 and had two sons. Once the two boys entered public school, I went back and finished my degree. I taught eight years at Unity Public Schools and acquired a Masters in Studio Art at the University of Wisconsin, Superior. After this I taught computer graphics and Advertising Design at Brown Institute and Graphic Design at the College of St. Catherine. I bought a small graphic design firm and worked as a designer before being hired 17 years ago to teach in the Art and Design Department at University of Minnesota, Duluth. The last twenty years I’ve done some traveling to traditional places like England, France and Italy and some not very traditional places like South Korea, and China. One of my favorite places to travel was to Cuba with a special permit provided by University of Minnesota. My latest project is create an on-line gallery with my three sisters called, Dahl- My artist website: The gallery website:
