Besides his responsibilities at UMD’s Department of Theatre, Scott is the resident Technical Director at Peninsula Players Theatre, America’s oldest professional resident summer theatre. There he has had the pleasure of working with some of the top directors, actors and designers from Chicago and around the country. After receiving his MFA in Technical Direction from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, Scott has worked with several professional and educational theatres in the midwest including, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, American Heartland Theatre, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis as well as theatre programs at the University of Arkansas, and Webster Conservatory of Theatre and Dance. Scott teaches courses is stagecraft, properties construction, drafting and mechanical design for the stage.
