Mia has earned a Master of Arts in Management from The College of St. Scholastica and an MA in English as a Second Language from Hamline University. She has been at UMD since 2015, first as the ESL Specialist at the Academic Writing and Learning Center and now as the Administrative Assistant for Political Science and History. Mia is passionate about environmental and equity-related causes. She is a (slow but steady) runner and loves snowboarding and yoga.
