Contemporary Art and the Mathematical Instinct

This exhibition of thirty (30) contemporary artists presents work in a wide variety of media that is derived from, responds to, or is influenced by mathematical concepts.  Many of the artist employ new technologies in their math-related works, while others practice traditional forms of art-making, from weaving, sculpture, painting and drawing, creating from and expressing mathematical concepts.  This exhibition is curated by Peter Spooner and accompanied by a fully illustrated color catalogue.
