Assistant Professor, Foundations
Robin Murphy is a ceramic artist interested in figurative work with a focus on narrative and storytelling. She received her B.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Minnesota Duluth and her M.F.A. in Ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hill, Michigan.
At UMD, she teaches foundation classes in Drawing 1, 2D Design, and 3D Design. Robin also co-facilitates 'Art Rats,' an art club that meets once a week and welcomes all UMD students.
