One Night in Tarrytown is an immersive virtual-reality (VR) experience created through an EVCAA RSCA grant collaboration between the SIVE Lab, Communication Research Lab, and MMAD Lab. Centered on “Nellie,” a long-time resident of Tarrytown, the project blends Communication, Computer Science, Digital Design, and Theater to explore how we learn through VR. Featuring contributions from more than two dozen faculty, staff, students, and community partners, this cross-disciplinary work invites visitors to step into Nellie’s world.
