History gives perspective and context that carries through to this day. It was also a good background for Law. I most remember Dr. Livingston and Ron Huch. Dr. Livingston liked my senior thesis on the Beat Generation. I always felt I picked the right major.
I taught for a year, then entered Law School at the University of North Dakota and worked in trust banking most of my career. I have been married for 50 years and have three children. I am a big UMD hockey fan. My father was on the first Teachers College hockey team in 1930.
