UMD Flute Day offers an exciting opportunity for flutists of all ages and experience levels to learn, perform, and connect with fellow musicians. The event features a group warm-up, a flute choir reading session, masterclass showcasing students of UMD Professor of Flute Dr. Paula Gudmudnson, and a guest artist recital by Flute Duo ZAWA!
Designed for high school flutists (grades 9–12), middle school flutists (grades 7–8), college students, and adult amateur flutists, Flute Day provides a fun and engaging day of musical exploration, learning, and flute-filled adventures.
