The 2024-25 issue of Confluence, the newsletter of the UMD College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, has published an article about the origins of the UMD American Indian Studies Scholarship, new in Fall 2024, and the two inaugural recipients for 2024-25, undergraduate students Olivia Johnson and Alyza Savage.
