Matthew Wagner is a Duluth native who has taught dance across the East Coast and Midwest, including at Dance New Amsterdam, The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and Central Park Dance. His work has been presented at the 92nd St. Y, Theatre by the Sea, TexArts, UMD, Perpich Center for Arts Education, NorShor Theatre, and his former tap company, Step Brothers NYC.
Matthew received his BFA in Dance from Stephens College and MFA in Dance from UW-Milwaukee. He has had the privilege of performing with artists such as Stephan Koplowitz, The Kathak Ensemble, Third Rail Projects, and Tap City, and touring with Parallel Exit and on the North American tour of 42nd Street.
Matthew continues to expand his knowledge and skills, studying in New York, Austin, Minneapolis, and most recently with Sharon Lavi at the Luthier and Coco Comin schools in Barcelona.
