I began my teaching career in 1985, teaching the Word Processing workshop for college freshmen and one course in logic for the Philosophy Department at UMD.  My main teaching interests are in business/technical writing.  I have written software manuals for various applications throughout my career and thoroughly enjoy the task of learning the applications and then teaching others how to use them.  My interests outside of teaching include cooking and decorating.
