After receiving her Bachelor's Degree from UMD, Kathleen went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 1966 and then completed her MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in 1985.
Kathleen had a long career as a family medicine physician in Minneapolis, MN. She also enjoyed teaching medical students in the office setting and was a Clinical Professor of family practice and community health at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
During her retirement she is serving as a board member of the Young Peoples Symphony Orchestra Association of the Minnesota Orchestra. She is also enjoying singing with Voices of Opera, an over 55 group of the Minnesota Opera, golfing, time at her lake home in northern Wisconsin and obedience training her golden retriever.
