As a student worker for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Josephine Fossum is helping to protect the environment for all Minnesotans. 

Two UMD Mock Trial team members were each named outstanding witness at the Ole Open, a tournament sponsored by St. Olaf University.

I graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law Magna Cum Laude and received the Alumni Association Award.

My time in the History department at UMD has greatly prepared me for my career in education. [I decided] to pursue a degree in history alongside my education degree.

For the past 13 years, I have helped individuals and business owners make smart decisions with money. I use my history and philosophy degree every day in my current position.

 

After graduating from UMD with University Honors, I started working with the Minnesota Historical Society (MNHS) at Split Rock Lighthouse as a Historic Interpreter.
